Lichen sclerosus et atrophicans is a vaginal infection that may be diagnosed with a pap smear, along with HPV. Referred to as LSA, this chronic disease occurs in women aged 40 to 60, yet cases in men and younger women have also been registered. It is unknown what causes this skin condition.
