Colposcopy, Cryotherapy

The vulva is covered with both dry, squamous skin and moist mucous membrane. Intestinal bacteria are constantly present in this area. When vulvar lesions are present, colposcopy and possibly cryotherapy are often done for an accurate diagnosis.
